General Information

The HWA YOUNG HYR-815 pressure regulator is designed for natural gas applications and feature a compapact, lightweight design for fast, easy installation with interchangeble drifices and springs that provide a wide range of outlet pressures and flow rates.
The HYR-815 pressure regulator is tipically used in an industrial or commercial installation to minimize the shock effect of sudden downstream load changes that might otherwise activate safety shutoff equipment. IN such an installation,where gas consumpution varies from almost nothing to 45Nm3/hr.
Also,HYR-815 provide a full range of regulators for service applications where accurate pressure control is required.
The units are ideal for industrial pressure reducing,metering stations and for district distribution.
The regulators are designed to maintain high accuracy and efficiency over the inlet pressure range 1-143 PSIG(0.07~10bar).
Several valve oriffices are available to cover the full inlet pressure range, together with a comprehensive numberof outlet pressure springs.
The unit has been designed for easy of installation and servicing in confined areas.The orifice, seat disc etc replacement and maintain are possible without disconnecting regulator body rom pipe.

Exclusive Several-step corrosion Protection

The protective finish on the series HYR-815 regulator resist corrosive effects of weather and harsh environments better than any other in the industry.Each precision die cast aluminum regulator is treated inside and out with a special conversion coating that is part of an exclusive,six step finishing process. This coating greatly inhibits oxidation of the metal's surface that can enventually compromise the integrity of the metal.

Proven Safety devices

HYR-815 regulator have a internal relief and OPSO sefety devices to meet the demands of overpressure protection requirments.
These devices are operated in case of overpressure.

* INTERNAL RELIEF
HYR-815 regulator have relief across the diaphragm to help minimize overpressure.
Any outlet pressure above the start-to-discharge point of the nonadjustable relief spring moves the diaphragm off the relief seat,allowing excess pressure to bleed out through the screened stabilizer vent.
For  extraprotection,should emergency conditions exist which prevent nomal operation of the regulator(for example,linkage becoing disconnected or disk broken off),the relief stem contacts the underside of the closing cap, limiting the rise of the relief. Since the diaphragm continues to rise  as downstream pressure builds,it lifts off the relief,thereby opening the valve to provide relief operation.

* OPSO
The OPSO built inregulator will shut off the gas supply in the event of a serious downstream pressure build up.

HYR 815 Series Regulator is designed for commercial use place such as restaurant, small factory, apartment etc to supply natural gas.
